The volunTECH Matching Platform is online: European digital volunteering finally has its own space
For years, volunteering was associated almost exclusively with physical presence: events, local activities, travel, operational offices, but today things are changing. More and more young people want to contribute to social, cultural and environmental projects also through their digital skills, while associations and NGOs are looking for new ways to engage motivated people from all over Europe.
It is precisely from this need that the new volunTECH Matching Platform was born: a European digital space designed to connect young volunteers and organizations through online volunteering opportunities, accessible and international.
The platform was developed within the European volunTECH project, an Erasmus+ initiative that promotes innovation in youth volunteering and active participation through digital tools.
A new way to volunteer
Digital volunteering doesn’t mean “doing less.” It means taking part in a different way—more flexible and often more inclusive too.
Through the volunTECH Matching Platform, young people can connect with organizations from different European countries and apply for opportunities ranging from digital communication to graphic design, from content management to organizational support, up to educational and creative activities.

- develop practical and transferable skills;
- receive certifications useful for your personal and professional path.
The goal is not only to create connections between volunteers and NGOs, but also to enhance the potential of new generations through real, collaborative, and international experiences.
