Erasmus Days 2025, the event to celebrate Erasmus Plus
Every year, the ErasmusDays bring together people from all over Europe to celebrate the Erasmus+ program. Mimma Dreams participated in this year's edition with a welcoming and engaging event that highlighted the power of education, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue as foundations for a shared European future.

The ErasmusDays are an annual international celebration dedicated to highlighting the impact and opportunities of the Erasmus+ program, the European Union's flagship initiative supporting education, training, and youth. It is a week dedicated to connection, cooperation, and sharing stories about how education can change people's lives. Participants from all over the world come together to present their projects, exchange experiences, and celebrate the values that unite Europe. Through a wide variety of activities – from conferences and workshops to exhibitions, sporting events, and interactive moments – the ErasmusDays embody the true spirit of the Erasmus program: cooperation, inclusion, and lifelong learning.
This year, the ErasmusDays took place from October 13 to 18, with the motto “Live our values, inspire our future”. The theme invited participants to reflect on and promote the shared principles that form the foundation of the European Union: respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights. Mimma Dreams APS was proud to take part in this initiative, joining a network of thousands of European organizations committed to building bridges through education and intercultural dialogue.
These ideals are at the heart of everything we do at Mimma Dreams. Our work has always been guided by a commitment to human rights, the promotion of European values, and support for access to education; participating in the ErasmusDays 2025 was therefore a natural continuation of our mission. Our event was designed as an interactive and engaging space, where participants could learn, share ideas, and imagine new possibilities for international cooperation.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to learn about ongoing and past projects of Mimma Dreams funded by the European Commission, focused on youth mobility, social inclusion, and empowerment through education. The activities aimed to present the concrete results of our work, but also to stimulate curiosity and inspire new participants to embark on their own Erasmus+ journey.
To encourage connection and participation, guests were invited to take part in an ice-breaker activity that captured the essence of the Erasmus+ program: exchange and self-expression. Each participant wrote their name, the European city they would like to visit for a mobility experience, what they wish to learn in the future, and drew or described a symbol that represented them. This simple exercise created a space for personal reflection and opened authentic conversations about identity, aspirations, and the shared pleasure of discovery – all elements deeply linked to the philosophy of Erasmus+.
In addition to the interactive game and moments of informal dialogue, the event offered the opportunity to explore concrete ways to participate in the Erasmus+ program, create contact networks, share experiences, and learn how to take part in youth exchanges or develop collaborative partnerships with international organizations.
The ErasmusDays 2025 event at the Mimma Dreams venue was a valuable opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. Through creative and participatory activities, we joined thousands of people across Europe to celebrate the ongoing impact of the Erasmus+ program on young people and communities, reaffirming our belief that through education, empathy, and cooperation we can build a more inclusive and inspiring future for everyone.
