Through education and awareness, we want to build a society where LGTBIQ+ youth grow up with confidence, visibility, and pride.
SAFE & PROUD was created to support young LGTBIQ+ people and to fight discrimination, bullying, and violence, creating safer and more inclusive communities.

Planned Activities
Expected results and impacts
Creation of a practical guide to develop and manage “safe spaces” in schools and youth settings.
Production of multimedia content (e.g. podcasts, videos, articles) based on real testimonies and intergenerational memory.
Greater ability for teachers, educators, and families to recognize and prevent discrimination and violent behaviors.
Increased awareness and participation thanks to public events, exhibitions, and opportunities for discussion.
Strengthening the well-being and sense of belonging of involved LGTBIQ+ youth, through more solid and inclusive support networks.
Developing a guide for safe spaces: Collection of best practices in guidelines for inclusive education to address discrimination in schools and youth centers.
Digital Archive and Storytelling Initiative: Gathering testimonies from LGTBIQ+ people from different generations. Creation of multimedia content (podcasts, videos, articles) to raise awareness.
Training programs: Workshops for teachers, youth workers, and families on LGTBIQ+ issues. Online modules to promote inclusive education.
Awareness and public engagement events: Organization of exhibitions, debates, and cultural events based on collected testimonies. Community campaigns to challenge stereotypes and discrimination.
