Project on gender violence and the promotion of a culture of mutual respect.
A New Perspective project has the general objective of promoting a culture based on mutual respect, through targeted training programs and awareness-raising actions aimed at men.

Project duration
The expression gender-based violence refers to all forms of violence, from psychological and physical to sexual, from the stalking acts of so-called stalking to rape, up to femicide, that affect women. To counter these actions, there are an increasing number of measures that governments and European institutions are implementing on the legislative, national, and transnational levels. Alongside these interventions, there are direct actions for victims, carried out by:
shelters, anti-violence centers, safe houses, emergency services, and more. To make these actions increasingly effective, it is essential to involve NGOs working in the field of rights protection, combating the gender gap and GBV. For this reason, Mimma Dreams APS, together with its trusted North Macedonian partner of excellence ZDRUZENIE INSTITUT ZA RAZVOJ NA ZAEDNICATA - CDI - has decided to take action.
The project, lasting 12 months, will have the strength to guarantee the achievement of two specific objectives, namely:
increasing men's education on the causes, expressions, and consequences of gender-based violence and promoting gender equality education through the dissemination of Positive Role Models.
The specific objectives are:
Improving men's education on the causes, manifestations, and consequences of gender-based violence.
Promoting gender equality education through the dissemination of positive models of masculinity.
