The Unstoppable Power of Sport
The project aims to introduce young people with disabilities to sport, encouraging their development and increasing their participation in sporting life, promoting inclusion in society.

Project Duration
The Unstoppable Power of Sport, was created to demonstrate that anyone, regardless of disability, can participate in sports, to contribute to increased cooperation between countries and cultures, sharing and improved interpersonal relationships for young people with disabilities.
The main activity took place in Bursa, Turkey, from 17 to 23 September 2023, an exchange involving as many as 42 participants from Turkey, Romania, North Macedonia, Spain and Italy, in practical exercises in four sports disciplines:

Badminton
Fencing
Archery

Risultati e impatti attesi
VolunTECH si impegna a promuovere il volontariato digitale per attrarre giovani volontari informali e potenziali nuovi volontari.
I principali risultati attesi sono:
Diffusione della formazione VolunTECH con contenuti formativi e video.
Rilascio certificazioni VolunTECH per il volontariato giovanile e le associazioni giovanili.
Sviluppo del Toolkit di risorse rivolto alle associazioni giovanili.
Lanco della piattaforma digitale per connettere volontari e associazioni.
The project was created to generate impacts on several levels:
Local: increased awareness about the sports inclusion of people with orthopaedic disabilities.
Regional: increase in the number of disabled athletes accessing available sports facilities in the regions involved;
National and European: involvement of athletes with disabilities in national and international sports competitions, fostering cooperation and communication between countries.
Through the skills and empathy developed, participants will be able to raise awareness in their communities and contribute to the dissemination of good practices. Countries with more Paralympic experience will share innovative methods and ideas with less developed ones.
